To celebrate the launch of the new Al Nassr home jersey, the first in the clubs renewed partnership with adidas we gave fans around the world a real look into Saudi Arabian football culture, celebrating the traditions and history of Al Nassr, it’s fanbase and the club’s journey.

AN ODE TO FOOTBALL IN THE REGION

With attention, comes skepticism. With the world’s eyes on the region, we thought we should give them something to talk about. Yes, this is a shirt launch campaign. But it’s also a homage to the past, present and future of Al Nassr and football culture in the Middle East.

Featuring a tribute to ‘The Golden Trio’, a legendary cast of players from Al Nassr’s history, the film journeys from the club’s humble beginnings to the present day, with Al Nassr’s new stars leading the charge, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Otávio Monteiro alongside local stars Abdulelah Al-Amri and Abdulrahman Ghareeb.

Shot in locations around Riyadh, the film is inspired by match-day culture and takes inspiration from football history in Saudi Arabia, with subtle references to moments of footballing pop-culture in the Kingdom across the decades.
